Piece of Cake!
The Elonen bakery started in Mänttä, Finland in 19666 and is now one of the largest producers of breads and bakery products in Finland.
Elonen was looking for a unique carton that had to meet following requirements:
- attractive
- easy to handle
- protective
- suited to be packed by a standard machine concept
De Tako Carton Plant of Tyrol suggested a carton style. The cakes are visible through the window, the package is openend with a zipper and the carton is easy to carry home.
The cartons run on
Spartan horizontal cartoner The Spartan opens the flat blank, forms the special corners of the cartonand closes the flap with glue. The delicate and high quality cakes are fed manually.
